ABOUT US

ABL Engineering established in 2017 to provide a high level service to those in need of our equipment and electrical services. Our specialism lies within the commercial and industrial food sector, installing, maintaining and servicing electrical systems and equipment most of which is specialist and automated.

Having many years experience within the sector and listening to clients concerns, it became apparent businesses were often receiving non-specific, poor and over priced services. We looked at the recommendations made by the food and beverage sector so we could deliver a service specific to each client and its business needs. No two clients in this industry are the same, all have separate needs and priorities and we take this into account to tailor our service to you.

Our team is highly trained, hard working and carries a positive, approachable attitude. Working with international distributors and local suppliers we can quickly rectify faults and carry a large selection of spares and materials increasing the prospect of a first time fix. In return this prevents downtime and lowers the cost of avoidable visits.

RECENT PROJECTS

Valley Business Centre Electrical Upgrades
Feb 2021 - Dec 2023

As part of a large scale £500k electrical upgrade, we are proud to have planned, designed and installed a new 1,600A main incoming supply complete with a new intake panel for the Valley Business Centre, Newtownabbey. Replacing the original 1940's underground cables, redirecting supplies, modifying existing panels and undertaking the installation of the new panels, every detail from the electrical design and calculations to the groundworks and the installation was meticulously planned and carried out. Working alongside NIE all work was completed out of hours and planned to cause minimum disruption for our client and their tenants with ABL Engineering seeing this project through from its initial conception to its successful completion.

NEW McDonalds Carrick-On-Shannon
Nov 2023

Our first new McDonalds installation since Larne in May 2022, we completed the kitchen equipment fit out, installation and commissioning for McDonalds Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Louth. Our strong links with McDonalds has seen us refurbish, install and maintain many of its sites in NI and ROI. The installation here was the first in Ireland for a food transporter and conveyor system used to move finished product from 1st floor to the ground floor in under 12 seconds. All equipment was installed and commissioned exactly to our customers detailed specification, with an engineer present on opening day for support and guidance where needed.
